St. John's Pre-School

A warm welcome to St John’s Pre-School. Whether you are bringing your child for the first time to our Pre-School or you are considering which Pre-School your child will attend, we would love to share, through the pages of this website, a little bit about who we are and what we do at St John’s Pre-School.

We are a happy and purposeful Pre-School, which has been serving our local community for 40 years. We provide Pre-School education for children aged 2 years and 9 months up to school age. We meet every morning, in term time, at St John’s Church Centre in Wimborne.

As a mother myself, I know how important it is for children to feel secure, cared for and stimulated. They thrive in a happy environment where they are known well as individuals and are encouraged to play and learn with others. This is just the sort of environment which we seek to provide at St John’s Pre-School.

We recognise that starting Pre-School is a not only a big event for children but for parents too. Throughout each child’s time with us, from the very beginning to their final Summer Term, we seek to work in close partnership with parents and we know the benefits that this can bring to the child and to the family.

We hope that your child’s time with us will be very special at the beginning of their lifelong learning journey.
